This circular hiking around the highest point of continental Portugal provides magnificent views of the surrounding territory. Despite the apparent aspect of "heartbreaking" landscape along this route, you will learn some of the most important and unique habitats, animals and unique plants that characterize the upper level of this mountain. A plateau with sub-alpine features, where the vegetation is little more than crawling and herbaceous shrubs, forming shrub areas interspersed with altitude meadows, the "cervunais", the ponds and the natural lakes of glacial origin, with the constant presence of granite.
Altitude difference: 243m (minimum quota - 1750m; maximum level - 1993m)
