This hide is located in the private area of Paúl de Toirões, in the municipality of Almeida, a few kilometres from Spain, under the management of Rewilding Portugal. It is built on the shore of a naturalised lagoon, surrounded by a dense formation of willow trees.

Shooting from the glass window involves losing 1 exposure point.

Similarly, species activity is also higher during the morning.
As this is a pond, the distance to the birds can vary considerably. Focal lengths from 400mm upwards are recommended, as is the use of converters. A 600mm focal length lens is preferable.
Photographers should bring their own tripod.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke or make noise inside the hide;
You must not touch the glass;
Mobile phones should be put on silent mode;
Dark clothing is recommended;
Users should not leave the hide by themselves. They should wait for the guide to arrive.
